Unfortunately, pundits and partisans on both sides do it. But in the cases cited above there simply is no "context" to justify what Obama said. There is no conceivable context for Jeremiah Wright. Obama has been quoted at length on the issue of coal and it's clear as to what he means. Ditto with "redistribution of wealth". These are not isolated quotes, but there are long sections whereby Obama elaborates on what he means. The fact is that Barack Obama is the most radical leftist candidate ever to run for the White House and he is being exposed as such. Obviously sometimes things can be taken out of context.
