Make up your mind, would ya?
Just a rant. I hate living in Florida sometimes. This past weekend, it was like 37 degrees in the morning, warming up to maybe the mid 50’s or something. Today it’s almost 90 degrees outside. What kind of crazy state is this? On sunday, orange growers had to cover their crop with water (which hardens into ice, actually protecting the oranges) to prevent damage, and today it’s practically beach weather.
And, now, I’m sick because of the weather changes. They drive me nuts.

It’s probably the sponges… That or that there Global Warming!
It’s just like that here in Wisconsin. One day it is 70, next it’s -20… But in the over 20 years I have been here, the weather has always been goofy… Before that I was in St. Louis, MO… Just as goofy! Hell, one new years I went down the levee by the Arch and watched people water ski on New Years Day, on the Muddy Mississippi..
They do this every New Years Day, except it is usually cold… This time it was 70+. Go figure.

I have lived in Florida for 21 years, and it sucks. If my wife and daughter did not like it so much I would move.
The weather is horrid, hot and humid. It cools down for a day or 2 and then back to the heat. The view is always the same, green scrub… And the beaches on the central to north east coast are some of the ugliest I have ever seen….

I have lived in fl for 29 yrs and hubby is native Floridian, and if it wasn’t for prices of homes being so low,we would have our house up for sale so fast, for we were up north for few years do to family sickness, should of stayed, here in Deltona,fl people are so weird and anti-social,boring,not use to living inland and hate fl so much can’t wait to get heck out,for it has changed for worse, rude people and it’s restaurants suck and to many foreigners,no one cares about anyone any more, not like old days in fl.My husband is 4th generation and he hates it now,but payed to much for house 3 yrs ago,so stuck here till prices go up then moving to upper cape cod, rather be cold and happy than hot and miserable, and job’s suck too,pay is lousy and they want you to be their slaves.Pray every day to get out for good,to many ignorant rude people, especially here in Deltona, worse place ever lived in fl and I have lived from Jax to key west,fl

I live in Michigan and it’s the worst state for fast drivers and change of weather. I hate this state, we are the worst for unemployment.Too many welfare people, because the people don’t know how to run this state properly.
I’ll take Florida over this state any day.
Jen on July 29th, 2008
Michigan is the same way, too many foreigners, welfare, high unemployment rate, no more events due to the economy, and is building up s fast and not even leaving any wilderness to look at. This state sucks!

I’ve lived in Key West for 5 years. I lived in upstate New York until I graduated high school and I hated it so much up there that I had to go as far south as possible without leaving the U.S. I love it here, yeah my 1 bedroom apartment costs 1200 per month, but I love the island life. Everyone is really nice and there aren’t alot of stupid teenagers around here.

Plus, I DESPISE THE WEATHER!
Uffda on November 1st, 2009
Give me the mountains, cold weather, better life style and way of life. Not a beach person. I hate the day I chose to accept the job in Florida and the day I moved here. Despise this place! OMG! GET ME OUT OF HERE!

I hate Florida. The bugs. My gosh the bugs!! Palmetto bugs are huge and disgusting. And they could hide anywhere. I hate the heat. There are no hills and the scenary is always the same. And it is dirty(at least in N jax). Very few bike lanes and really no good parks to enjoy. Oh, and you have to travel most places by car. Not a very friendly city to those that like the outdoors. Can’t move cuz hubby has a good job.

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only who HATES living in FL!! I’ve been here for 24 years and I hate it more every year. I lived in Michigan for 16 years, and I miss it terribly! Yes, the winters are too extreme, but FL summers are extreme. Heat and humidity that stretches through fall absolutely sucks!! It’s the lack of seasons I miss. Fall is nonexistent in this state and that used to be my favorite time of year! My husband is a native here so I’m stuck here! Hopefully one day I’ll be able to leave, and I guarantee, I will NOT look back!
